The dust in the drawing room raises the blood pressure of a rich woman, but the dung and dirt on the floor of a slum dweller give him the comfort and rest he needs and an ideal place to relax and even sit while eating. A recent study has shown that the happy moments in the lives of the rich and the poor are almost equal.
If the rich think they have more happiness than the poor, they are living in a fool’s paradise. So what is the secret of happiness? Just a positive attitude! We cannot say that Christ was unhappy while crucified or Socrates was unhappy while drinking from the cup of hemlock.
