A paragraph is a short collection of well-organized sentences which revolve around a single theme and is coherent. A good paragraph expresses everything it has to say briefly.

I feel very happy while reading books and I don’t read just for exams or for profit. In this post, I have written a brilliant paragraph on Pleasures of Reading.

I belong to the second-class elite. In my spare time, I made a point of reading and reading it. I read a lot, but I’m not a bookworm. I mean, I don’t read just for exams or for profit. I read a wide variety of books, from religious texts like the Vedas, the Gita, the Ramayana, the Tripitaka, the Quran, the Bible, and Gitanjali to novels written by both Indian and foreign authors. I also read some of William Shakespeare’s plays and Francis Bacon’s essays. I also read some humorous literature produced by P.C. Wodehouse and Jerome K. Jerome. I feel very happy while reading books. And lastly, I read newspapers and some magazines regularly.

We live in a materialistic or utilitarian era where nothing is considered right unless it pays or is useful in some way. We never think that we have a mind or spirit within our mortal body, something that demands something higher. And that something higher is a spiritual and intellectual joy and satisfaction that cannot be easily explained.
