Paragraph on Malaria

Malaria is a dangerous sickness that had been eliminated after independence. But now, it has returned more severely. This disease is caused by the bite of a female mosquito called the Anopheles. The symptoms include a headache, sudden rise of temperature with shivering, recurring temperature, vomiting, and sweating. Quinine is the main medicine used to treat Malaria, although chloroquine and amodiaquine are also effective.

Preventing Malaria is better than trying to cure it because anti-malarial drugs have side effects. To prevent Malaria, DDT should be sprayed on wetlands, ponds, drains, and ditches to kill mosquitoes and their larvae. Any stagnant water should be drained away. People should use mosquito nets at night and be informed about the terrible consequences of Malaria and the side effects of anti-malarial drugs.
